My Latest Art Project. 

It is Tunisian crochet carpet for the downstairs loo.

I sewed a non slip fabric underneath so that it does not move. 

Since this room is not heated this carpet has really made a difference.

Peanut just having eaten supper. Now she should shut up for a while unless it rains then she moans all the time!

Autumn is here! Took this photo from my kitchen door over my neighbours roof.

Kate finally knitted her own scarf. It is nice and thick and should keep her nice and warm in the winter.
So proud of her!!!!

Trying to look in the window. We have not named these 2 but they lay very well so I am happy!

The latest addition to the farm yard. We have let them wonder arround the garden and they are loving it.

They have played 2 games so far and have won both of them!
They have 1 girl in the team, her brother plays in the team too.

My Thumb now. The skin is peeling off and the bite next to the nail is infecting and is very sore!! When will this end! Missing the use of my thumb very much.

A beautifull rainbow just outside my front door. Rain and sun all at once!

My Thumb is looking much better. Doctor put me on stronger anti-biotics and I have to soak the finger in anti-septic twice a day!

 Miya and I had a run in again. She really attacked me this time and has bitten my finger very badly

   Peter did wear some protection on his arm but it did very well.

Rhubarb from our garden. This is the 3rd time we have picked. 
This was a nice surprise in our new garden.
Guess we are having Apple and Rhubarb pie for supper!

The kids and I are off to South Africa for 2 weeks. Staying with Mom in Scottburgh.
Graeme is staying at home to look after the animals and he is doing an intense Dutch course.

Was shopping in Holland on Friday and had to buy these foorball buns for lunch! Very delicious!

Miya after her operation, She tore all the tendons in her knee an now has wire inside to hold it all together,

Our first egg!!!!!!  Shame it is very small but the chickens are still very young!

My New Car!!!  It is an Seat Ibiza. Diesel and a small engine but very nippy. It also has a tow hitch for the bicycle rack and parking assistent.

Yesterday was a really big day in our lives!

Last day!!!!!!

Well the day has arrived! It is very sad for all of us as it is Graeme's last day at Safmarine for ever.

This company has been part of our lives forever. We met there and they are responsible for us living in Belgium today.

So long and it is so sad to see such a great company being closed or rather swallowed up by another bigger company.

35 YEARS

Today it is 35 years that Graeme started at Safmarine!! He is leaving for China today for a week to take delivery of a ship. Can't believe he will be finishing up at Safmarine at the end of the month!

The first proper snow of 2012!

Looks like fun but not such fun to drive in!!! At least my Mom got to see some snow before she goes back on Wednesday.

Snow!?!

Yes it has snowed. Not that excited but luckily it is not too bad just the temperature has fallen. Graeme finally let us make a fire in the fire place and now it lovely and toasty inside.
